Current Version Plugin Google Update is an add on plugin provide by google that works updater for all Google program like Chrome, Google Earth or other program from Google.
This plugin is not standalone plugin, it will be update after you update other Google product.
If you remove this plugin, it will not affect another Google plugin that you installed on your Firefox or Google Chrome, but some people reported that after removing this plugin they got it back after they update Google Chrome.But some people getting error report when they start up Firefox, if you get same error best option may disable this plugin.
How to remove Google Update plugin if you got same errror when statrt up? It's simply just remove it in Firefox menu > Add-ons > Plugins > Google Update. You can disable this with press Disable button.
In this menu you are looking update version for Google plugin and firefox automatically update this if available to update. But if you wan to remove permanently this plugin, remove All Google product and wait until all disappear.
Unless you have no need or interest in using Google’s Plugins then we highly recommend against this.
