If you check on Firefox plugin, you may be found Microsoft® DRM plugin already installed but if you try to track it you won’t possibly locate in Firefox, because it’s doesn’t come with Firefox.
The Current Version Plugin Microsoft® DRM comes with Windows media player, usually it used by Windows media player to manage digital rights. In other word the plugin help developer to protect media with licensed for distribution.

The plugin will work when you using Mozilla Firefox to access media online, such as audio song or streaming video feed online. The Current Version Plugin Microsoft® DRM will automatically install itself when you install Windows media player but this plugin does not harm your computer.If you want to remove it you must remove it manually, you must remove some files called npdrmv2.dll and npwmsdrm.dll. Follow this instruction how to remove Microsoft® DRM manually:
Enter safe mode with command promt in your Windows
Type: cd C:\ with one space between cd and C:\ Hit ENTER
And then type this text:
Del C:\Windows\System32\dllcache\npdrmv2.dll
Del C:\Windows\System32\dllcache\npwmsdrm.dll
Del "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\npdrmv2.dll"
del "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\npwmsdrm.dll"
Exit command prompt and restart your computer
